Letters by Sarah:

How to Love Like a Canadian

Letter VI | Winter MMXXVI | words: Sarah Woods

Sarah Woods argues we need to kiss more in public and open our hearts more – even if it hurts,” – How to Love Like a Canadian, contributed to The Globe and Mail. Published February 13, 2018.

Eight-years ago a story I wrote was published in The Globe and Mail, How to Love Like a Canadian. It’s about moving beyond doubt, trusting inner intelligence and… going in for the kiss.

It’s about moving beyond doubt, trusting inner intelligence and… going in for the kiss.

While my day job is centred around higher consciousness and materializing new systems and structures from pure love, I’m also here for courtly love and making the world more beautiful through union. Actually, both require the human to return to their own technology of heart first, for the dream to transpire.

…I’m going to celebrate Saint-Valentin… because this world needs more love and I’m going to love like a Canadian.

The medieval European celebration of love, known as Saint-Valentin, has most definitely gotten out of hand in the material world. But if you’re still reading this, I suspect you’re just like me, and believe there’s an internal power within us all that can out create the collective mess we’re in. So, I’m going to celebrate Saint-Valentin… because this world needs more love and I’m going to love like a Canadian.

avec amour, Sarah
